Thought I could take benefit of buying digital deluxe on two different systems to get benefits from both. Looks like you can only get them from one as linking accounts doesn't let you use them from second purchase.

Yes. Only your main account's assets are shared across devices. Of course, if you unlink them, then you can have both devices with DD.
