This is easily the worst day 1 content we’ve had since 18
thankfully you dont need 30 free diamonds on day 1. They spoon fed us in 21. Time to grind.
I agree this makes for a better online experience. But for players who like offline primarily or only, this is a pretty week release. Not much to do compared to last year and not much to work for. I agree they spoon fed us last year and maybe they shouldn't have had so many huge cards so early on. But we're literally talking about 1 program in the place of 7.
Spread that throughout the year and with TA gone we are missing 30 big programs. That's massive. I'd be fine if TA 1 was all Gold cards, TA 2 80s diamonds, TA3 90-93s etc. Offline players don't care as much about the OP cards, we just want content and card variety. I'm actually digging the good cards in FotF.
I am adjusting and I don't think it's as much of a cash grab as some do. I'm having fun with the new format, just hoping I don't run out of stuff to do. This is the only video game I play. I get it, that's my fault...but still. You can't argue that the amount of content is far less......so far.

This is what happens when the community complains that TA cards were too easy to obtain last year. I'm true NMS and last year it wasn't rewarding at all, NMS should be a challenge. I'm okay with the way things are now.

What an awful take. Last year was perfect for NMS.
The game should cater to NMS, while giving people the ability to pay for their teams if they choose. This year is the opposite, SDS expects you to buy your team because they aren’t going to let you earn enough for the average player to be NMS and keep up.

this just isnt true at all. the collection rewards are pretty bad this year, the program if you grind, is pretty easy, they shouldn't cater to the people that log on to play every other week, i'm NMS and i have almost a full diamond team, its really not hard, just have to smart with your stubs and play the game.

Yeah I dont have to much of an issue with it the way it is but I don't play much online either. My team is an 86 overall I think and I've been enjoying playing mini seasons and finished the USA map which was way quicker than I've done it before.
I'm enjoying it, makes getting diamonds more rewarding but after last couple of seasons, I can see why people are mad.

As a NMS player… The in grind 22 is well worth it. I’m actually having much more fun playing 22.

this! it sucked last year being nms, i finished TA3 last year in like 4 hours, and had no programs to grind. This is an actual time consuming grind.

Agree here, team + division awards just not enticing. I pulled vlad night 1 and cole night 3 so but the bullet and finished that division to get mussina, but other than the easy non-diamond teams, absolutely no rush in finishing all teams.
It’d be awesome to have the bigs (hurt + unit), but the value just isn’t there currently.

As a NMS myself, apart from the odd 25$ once or twice during the year, last year was exhausting. I didn't pre-order this year, and finally caved on Sunday. From mid-August on I kept getting behind because of the sheer volume of programs, and I never actually had the time to play with most (9o%) of the diamonds I'd get.
There is such a thing as too much of a good thing; last year was it. Still think 19 was great in terms of content balance.
