You actually get 12 90s right off the bat. Butast year also had a lot of cards from Team Affinity 1 which is totally gone. It's still up in the air right now...

Do you remember if the TA program was available from day 1? I can’t seem to remember…

They already said that TA was being blended into the feature program so it's gone. In it's place are the gold legends division packs along the feature program path. As opposed to having a totally separate program with much better cards.

To be honest, it's a bit of both. We are definitely getting more right from the get go, however the Team Affinity from last year gave you 30 good players and lots and lots of packs along the way. This year packs and XP are much harder to come by so I can see why some people who have been fans of the game for years will see this new format as a move to a more pay to play model. I am not saying this is the case, but I can see why some people may feel that way.

Maybe the middle ground is that these new FOTF cards are 90s? What were last years first TA program cards? 88s?

I hate to sound like I’m complaining because I do like this game but it doesn’t seem like an upgrade from last year. It many ways it feels like a downgrade. I personally liked the TA programs. Not saying I don’t like FOTF but I’d rather have back daily moments,Topps now,TA,Inning programs etc.

I personally agree with you. However, one thing SDS is really good at is content, so it will be interesting to see what is next. Hopefully they listen to the community and make the relevant changes. My biggest complaint this year is the fielding!

The one thing I do not like about the new main program format is that some of them will only be a week long. At the end of the month when they have the one week long main program with a single boss (probably going to be a good one) is the one week I'll be on vacation in Hawai'i. So I'm probably going to miss out on that whole program and will have to pay for that boss card.

My hope is that this new program style leads to more varied lineups in DD. I’m not the kind of player that needs every card and I’d much rather face different teams than the same players constantly. Do you think we will see variety due to these types of programs?

I haven’t had much problem with fielding yet but I had to make some adjustments during the tech test. I have noticed it’s much harder to hit home runs.

I am mainly offline and the CPU fielding is just stupid! Every player is like superman with 99 fielding, 99 arm strength and 99 are accuracy! It seems as though player stats in terms of fielding don't matter at all!
