My thoughts on Mini Seasons
-
First off; I'm only going on what I've read/heard as I haven't played this yet.
But the main gripe seems to be getting matched up with 'teams' that already have all the good diamonds (meaning they're teams if either YouTubers or people with disposable income).
Now I have no problem how you fielded your team. If you want to grind and be NMS; thats on you. If you want to beg mommy and daddy for stubs; that's on you. If you want to con people into watching your streams so you can milk them for money; that's on you. If you want to pimp out your sister; that's on you.
But what SDS SHOULDVE done with this mode is had you play against a team filled with Legend and Flashback cards and if you made the playoffs/won the championship; you would get a Choice pack filled with those players.

When they announced this new mode, I figured they would have made the games against regular MLB teams but the difficulties would have been pre determined game to game. Varying difficulties like they do with Moments and what not.
-
I mean it still isn't difficult at all and you can choose the difficulty for every game. I think its a great option for non-online players to get XP, stubs, and cards. Way better than the Extra Innings option that they had before. An all gold squad pitching staff should be able shut out most god squads on rookie right now if someone is struggling.

That would not be as much fun, we already face the regular MLB teams countless times in all of the conquest maps already.
I have not gotten in to the mode too deeply yet but I like the idea of facing other DD teams even if they are overpowered.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem with just one god squad. I mean baseball has the Dodgers IRL. The problem is no matter what there's been two of the teams maxed out already, the rest look similar to my team which I like. Then they include two challenges for playing on harder difficulties. Maybe I'm just not good enough at this game, but I doubt I can beat those challenges against 99 overall players.

I like the mode actually, it's challenging but it's like extra innings last year. Great for stats XP and stubs. I walked off a team this evening with a Mike Piazza home run it was a great feeling lol.

Mini Seasons mode is great addition for offline players in my opinion. You can choose difficulty for each game, so I don't see a problem with god squads being there from the first day.
It's so much better playing this mode, than mindless and rewardless games vs cpu. I think we will see new rewards and new player card every month -
the mode is broke for me 2 of my wins counted as loses so I stopped playing the mode. instead of being 4-2 i am 2-4 and my stats did not count for the last two games.

Mini Seasons is not Extra innings! The teams are not made up of other other players building teams. They're all Computer Generated. The cats and whales will always have full Diamond teams. That's 2 teams out of what 9? 11? I know 1 team is full Bronze and one Silver (Stingers I think).
My thoughts are this: It's 3 days into the game cycle - Of Course teams are going to be computer generated at this point. They don't have the data yet to build teams based on other players lineups just yet as they're constantly changing...I can start a Mini season today and finish it in 6 months. Lineups change. Will they possibly go to a User Generated lineup in the future? Possibly and just base it on a lineup used at a given time. But wouldn't it just be easier to leave it computer generated? -
