The Good, the bad, and the ugly. (my opinion)
-
The Good
- CO OP- a lot of bugs in this mode and it’s basically just exhibition with no rewards, but once they fine tune it and start adding rewards think it will be one of the best modes in the game.
- Innings played instead of wins in Ranked Seasons. Every player should be able to achieve all cards in a game they paid money for. World Series whiners will just have to deal with that.
The Bad
- Commentary- Who are these guys, it’s about as boring as watching Bob Ross paint a picture.
- Moments- just get rid of them all together.
- Taking a turn for the worse for NMS players- May be to early to tell so we’ll see when the game officially launches next week.
The Ugly
- Whatever this TA/inning program is- it’s terrible and was probably the worst idea I’ve ever seen implemented in a game especially since both programs were fine just the way they were. Oh and not be able to pick the player you want or sell that player after putting the time in is BS.
- Mini Seasons (so far)- I can understand a few issues during launch but to play games and literally win but receive a loss is unacceptable and needs addressed with compensation of some sort for those affected by this.
- No DH- this is also unacceptable.

Good - game play, I’ve noticed a ton of hit variety. Singles and doubles in the gap a lot more often.
The bad - servers, what a joke and it’s gonna be worse on April 4th when Xbox gamepass goes live.
The ugly - the sh*tty XP amounts. I’ve completed the USA conquest, played non stop , done some moments and I’m at 75K XP.
You get 500 measly XP for the player missions and moments for the program tab. Only 15K XP for showdown? That should be 25K minimum and reputable up to 3x
We need a double XP weekend ASAP!!

The game isn't out yet and your asking for a double xp weekend asap??? What are you expecting the game to be handed to you?
The program is 37 days long the next program isn't till May, let's say they do a double xp weekend next weekend and you blow through the program are you going to come on here and say there is nothing to do?
Chill out

If you play online only you earn hardly any XP. I shouldn't have to spend 12 hours playing Conquest just to make some program progress. Moments too. Save that ish. Give more in-game XP. Simple as that.

The counter at the top for the FOTF program says there's 26 days and 22 hours left.

I'm against having rewards in co-op personally.
-
Game is still very easily NMS. Has been since 15 and there are still more avenues to make stubs than those previous years.

Shut up you whiny sack.

The really bad is that Moments haven’t changed at all. Sheesh. I’ll be avoiding them again this year. What a waste.

Moments are so inane. I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do less…

That’s an interesting take, because as an offline player I saw how much easier online players had it last year in terms of XP and especially paralleling cards. I played a ton last year and only got one card to P5.

While parallels do go faster naturally online due to the multiplier on PXP, I'm pretty sure every 1/1 for every card that got there was done mostly through CPU play. If your entire goal is getting a card to P5, CPU is by far the fastest option

That’s interesting — I would never have thought games vs CPU would get you there faster because I always figured the multiplier was crucial. I guess the best strategy was to play 9-inning games on legend? I played an obscene amount of conquest (almost always on All-Star) and the PXP just added up sooo slllowwwwllltyy.

For pitchers, 9 inning games on legend. For Hitters, 2 AB on vet or allstar and quit

That makes sense. I don’t really care about paralleling (particularly not to get there first) so it’s probably not worth all the extra hassle to play like that.

Hey, take that back!!!!!
-
The good - gameplay
The bad - commentary (yikes), not enough content for offline players yet (that will probably change)
The ugly - face of the franchise packs beign random. What gives on this, i was really hoping to get Trout in one form or another out of the gate and I was excited to see him in Faces of the Franchise but making it a 1 in 5 chance is asinine especially because you only get 12 choices and then have to buy the others for now. Sure they will be in packs like crazy going forward but silly move.

Why is it that they have released this game for maybe 20 years straight and every time its like the first time they're doing it?
