Switch version is a win

Alright after a good 12 hours of play on the switch I can confidently say it's exceeded my expectations.
Now I will say my expectations were kept at a minimal as sports games on switch don't have a good track record and that being generous considering FIFA is the only main sports game.
MLB on switch works I don't feel like it's technical limitations take away from the game play, is it at the same level of the big boy systems of course not but it gets the job done.
As a offline player it's awesome I have been grinding the mini season and went 21 and 7 most of those games in hand held mode. It was on Vet but I don't feel I suffered cause it's on switch.
I am hopeful I linked everything the right away because the combo of a switch version and a xbox version with all the same feature and progression of DD could be a home run...pun intended....

From a gameplay perspective, I agree with you. I only have a Switch Lite (bought this week in order to play MLB when away from my Xbox) and like it a lot except for the glitches that I am experiencing.
No purchase regrets if SDS puts attention to fixing Switch-specific issues this year.

I haven't run into any of the issue some have been discussing my self.
I did finally play on online event game an again was happy with the experience.
I'll play on both switch and Xbox but I think most of my gameplay will happen on switch like tonight while watching Maina.
I am just so happy with it and happily paid the 129 for the DD version

Are there any specific settings you use or do you do lower difficulties on switch than you usually do, because I am having a really hard time picking up the ball on switch.

My settings are pretty much the same as if O was on my Xbox. I normally play on Vet offline but will dabble in all star. Full disclosure it took me a good few hours to get hitting down but now I'm in a pretty good grove.
I use strike zone 2 I think it is, it's the one that's really zoomed in and you can really only see the hitters mid section. I still use zone hitting as well even with the switch in handheld is a little tough to do with

Okay. Thanks. I could usually get by in hall of fame and cruise on all star. But, all star has been hard. I’ll just drop down to vet and see how it goes. I’m really just trying to relax and play instead of taking it so seriously this year. So, maybe that’s a good thing. It just messes with my ego I guess. Ha.

Yeah that's kinda my view on this year, just enjoy the progress that is why I may be view all the changes in such a positive way cause it it allow for it to be a more relaxing progress. Just play and get cards, will I get everything this year no but I'm also not going to kill myself playing events. Also man RS being innings is huge for theme team building. I can build teams and just play and know I am progressing. Now that's releasing

That’s pretty much the reason I got rid of my ps4. I was going to take a year off and maybe buy a ps5 in a year. But then it got released on switch and I knew I’d spend the next month thinking about buying it. So, I just bought it. Now, we’ll see if I can just be a casual.
