No more inning bosses?

As long as you don't need all FOTF cards for a big collection, it'll be OK. If you do, they're forcing you to buy 60% of the cards on the market. Kinda seems like they're pushing to make people buy more stubs, unless stubs are earned very easily.
I am guessing that those choice packs will come back during a later program.

Can we talk about the gold cards that have mission and you will have to use these cards in your line us. The idea you have to play this game to succeed is so good

Innings and TA were basically combined. The 19-21 inning program format was getting a bit stale so a change might not be awful. As for the FOTF cards/ lack of team affinity I'm gonna wait a while before overreacting and calling them EA like everyone else is. On the surface it does look bad though, I won't deny that
The thing is that there was no reason to combine TA and inning programs into one, resulting in much less content. They could’ve done something new with featured programs while not removing one of the best aspects of DD in team affinity. It’s a decision made purely from greed and nothing else. It doesn’t benefit us as players in any way whatsoever, it only benefits SDS by forcing average players to buy overpriced stubs to get what was available for free before.
The game isn't even out yet. What makes everyone think there will be less content? Chill.
Because the combined featured program is literally less content than a separate inning program plus team affinity lmao

Your average DD player could not consume all of that content in a reasonable amount of play time anyway. I am guessing that only those players who maxed out the inning XP in two weeks will feel like there is not enough content.
I play a fair amount and I gave up on keeping up with Team Affinity last year.

TA was way to easy last year!! Exchange, exchange exchange get all cards in 2 hours!!
If you really look at what they're doing it's to make you actually have to play the game. Example: World Series reward path not by wins but innings!! Seen alot of complaining about people quitting so they changed it. Play game get rewards!! IJSYou're right but not everybody took these short cuts. I doile that they make you play the game. But TA gave you plenty of opportunity to play. I built 6 rosters ans basically played 9 inning games and conquests to earn all TA points. TA5 took me almost 2 months. I could have finished it in a week. I had the exchanges and collections that I needed. But what fun is that?
Like I said before, I personally buy this game to play it and so some of these changes look solid.
I actually am excited to transition more online and I like what they shows of RS and BR. Events looked more or less the same.
I hope I'm wrong and that the featured programs are better and more complex than innings programs.

Don't get me wrong, if a few months go by and these cards are not given out in other ways, I will completely agree with you. At face value, it is extremely greedy. I would just like to see how things play out first. 90% of the rest of the stream included positive changes. I just don't think SDS is that stupid to completely shoot themselves in the foot with this one thing. Content is the only thing they have over other sports games, I'm willing to give them a chance on this for now. My mindset might completely change by July though
Trust me, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. Them thinking something like this is a good idea (and better than what we had last year) in the first place just doesn’t give me much confidence though.

I played less last year than I did in 19 and 20 and was always able to complete each stage of TA and most of the inning programs eventually. It isn’t about time to complete though, it’s about being able to earn much, much less than before and being forced to buy more from the market instead.

I like what I have seen of 22 so far but how does a time limited program really help you with being able to complete it?

I understand, and don't blame you at all for feeling that way. Its certainly a reasonable concern to have. There is just too many unknowns at this point in time for me to concerned just yet.
-
I'm far less concerned about having to pay for the cards...they have definitely proven they try to make every card accessible. The online changes further reinforce this.
Simply put, I'm bummed because there seems like a lot less to do and far less methods of accomplishing your objectives. We shall see.
