I’ll say it: Best Content Team in Sports Gaming

As far as the actual content goes, this looks like it’ll be easily the worst since 18 (for very different reasons though).
We’re getting less content than before with the featured programs, and we can’t even earn half of it.
Just said to a friend after watching I wont be playing as much it seems this year
-
Are you who I could hear you clapping every time they said anything about anything?
-
When the competition is EA and 2K its a low bar, But SDS tries super hard to put the best content out that they can, sometimes its a miss, but usually have been pretty happy with the content as an offline DD player
Edit: I think there is a small move away from NMS being as easy as it was, and lets face it, NMS was not that difficult, Hopefully they find that perfect balance of rewarding for NMS but if you want things super quickly you can spend money

No real post here, but the title. While I may not agree with everything, 22 DD looks like a huge win
I'm honestly not trying to he a downer. I admit that I tried watching while working so I missed stuff, I am open to hearing what people like about this year. But from what I saw, they axed the best offline program, there looked like very few conquests, instead of earning 30 cards in 6 programs of TA, it's just the innings program with a lot of bosses?
I would love for everyone to jump in and tell me I'm wrong. But from what it looked like, it's just a lot less.

I actually like everything about the stream except the way the FOTF cards were handled personally
To add to this though, i will give SDS the benefit of the doubt FOR NOW. we don't know for sure if these packs are gone completely after the program ends or they will recycle them elsewhere( For example putting FOTF Packs as lower rewards in featured program #4 or whatever.) I just don't want extremely overpriced 90 overalls floating around when that could have been avoided.
I bet they’ll be in conquest maps later (and flash sales). If they don’t put them elsewhere, every one of these will be 250k stubs.
I'm guessing so too. I'm not completely against the idea of a player only getting 12 of 30 for free, because it makes your choices matter more and your aren't getting a full lineup of diamonds within 6 hours (not picking the first 6 is straight up dumb though). The inning program format was getting quite stale. I don't like the idea of scrapping TA completely in favor of this, but TA in MLB 21 might has well been log in and get 30 free cards. I would have preferred going back to 20s format but I will give this some time before making any final judgments.
I know we have been spoiled the last few years, but in 17 it was an extreme amount harder to earn cards and was still fairly easy to compete NMS.

I couldn't agree more. Overall I'll give the stream an 8.5-9 but man if they had just left TA alone and like it had been in 21 it would have been an epic stream. Still though, I was excited even before the stream started but now midnight can't get here soon enough.

They added Mini Seasons for offline, which, I missed the stream part, but from what I have read is 28 game seasons against the CPU and CPU team lineups will be pulled from other people DD teams, adjustable difficulty and rewards. NMS should still be super viable even with some of the changes
If you have the need to complete every collection you might need to grind a little harder this year -

Mini seasons looks cool though, thanks for the breakdown.

They said the combined Inning Programs and TA into one aspect: Featured Programs.
They said they did this because people were grinding the hell out of TA, to get all those good cards, and playing nothing else.
Said TA took over DD.
I can see their point; but this is one of the reason I complained earlier about throwing Diamonds out like they're Oprah giving out cars.
If you don't want people getting all the good cards early, easily, then don't put Diamonds out at the beginning of a games cycle.
I wouldn't have minded it'd they made it where they were only obtainable by grinding stats and unsellable.
Now as for the people saying that you can't get all of them without buying them. That's is partially correct.
If you want ALL 30 NOW; pony up the stubs.
But if you can wait; then they'll eventually be released in other programs and soon enough they'll ALL be QS value and obsolete.
I like it. It takes away from EVERYONE doing exchanges and Showdowns just to get all of them ASAP.
Now you have to earn them and wait to finish them. Probably what they meant by timed programs.
-
My only complaint about TA is that unless they're released elsewhere; we'll no longer have the packs that included 5 Stadiums, 4 LS cards from that Division, and the TA packs.
Seems like it's going to make the LS Collection a little tougher to complete. Which in my book is good.

What made TA so much fun was you had to build a roster around a certain division and play a ton of games to complete each program, thus building stats, paralleling, and earning XP. They gave you quick ways to skip through it exchanges and collections if you didn't want to spend weeks on it. But I liked that. I literally played get to earn all 300 points in all 6 divisions in TA 5. I liked earning a new card and then having missions with said card. I get that the featured programs have aspects of TA but it's just condensed. I don't want condensed. I bought the game to play it. Not skip stuff just to earn cards.

It could be classified as a confirmed guess. Unless they go back to the way they used to, ex TN, and only make certain cards obtainable via the Market; then we'll have people complaining that the rewards are behind a pay wall.
I am assuming that they may do another Mega Collection, maybe a few, and these FOFT cards will be part of it. If that's the case; they'll more than likely release them in some way throughout the game's cycle or there will be at least 18 players with thousands of 1M stub Buy Orders.

Random is lame, ESPECIALLY if you only get 2 of the 5.
(I thought this post was going to say "shout out...")
