I know there was a post asking what would be the most expensive team and division.

I'm curious how many diamonds they'll start with to open the season and how they make their selections. Is there a set amount usually or do they simply select based on performance?

    Who wil be 90+?

I'll add my predictions once I hear back on how they do the selection?

Trout and DeGrom will be 90+ day 1. A highly speculative guess, I know.

    Trout and DeGrom for sure.

Add Scherzer, Betts, Acuna, Ohtani and Tatis as high diamonds (90+).

Quite possibly Harper as well, along with Soto.

Do they have a certain amount of 90+ to start or could it be any number, just based on last year's performance?

They 'say' they base it on a 3 year performance; but if that was the case, a few Diamonds this year should've been Golds.

I don't see Acuna being bumped up 2 points, to start the year, when he was injured a majority of last season.

Plus; he's starting our at the DH position and won't take the field for at least 2 months. So I don't see him getting an upgrade for awhile.

    Ohtani is a little high.

Acuna ended the year a 94 if I'm not mistaken so I docked him a point for the injury, he still had an all star MVP type first half.

You're probably right about Ohtani, but I'm taking a shot in the dark since he's literally the face of the game right now.

Oh crud. Why did it look like Acuna was lower than 94. My bad.

All good, you still may be right about him. But since he had a great first half I think he'll stay around the same. He was the odds on favorite for MVP when he went down I believe. He and Tatis.

Are you thinking Jansen will start as a free agent because he signed after they completed the game? He's a Brave I thought.

    Otherwise good list.

I looked at your list like 3 times and missed seeing Buehler there.

Buehler is in-between Glasnow and Woodruff a 87 overall

Are you thinking Jansen will start as a free agent because he signed after they completed the game? He's a Brave I thought.

    Otherwise good list.

Ha, I completely missed that signing last night, thank you. Guess no gold free agents afterall.

yeah I saw him after you said he was there, I know my eye sight is bad but D a m n. I think that is a major reason I suck at hitting online, well that and not being patience enough. I played the event over the weekend, I did get to 16 or 17 wins. The 99 percent of the games I won were 2-0 or 1-0.
