I remember when the power up card idea for this game was absolutely blasted like no other….players were actually vowing to never play this game if they did anything like EA. Now we have players wanting to take pictures of they’re P5 cards for memories.

Boy have the times changed. In fact, I remember a few of the members on here hating on power up cards….only to fall in love with them lol.

I don't play MUT soni can't speak to how they do their power ups but I'm assuming it's not exactly a 1 to 1 comparison with how The Show does it. I could be completely wrong tho. I love the parallel system and the way they have it set up, much better than the prestige system.

Yes, they did the parallels right with how to do it. Regardless, it’s a version of the power up system that EA employs and players in the past were blasted for suggesting it for this game.

    Prestige was more distinguished.

You can take a screenshot on the 4 after pressing the Share button. There's an option to save a video clip as well, but it will always be 10-15 minutes in length which you can edit down in the simple to use video editor for PS4. If you want to pull a good quality shot, you should have an alternate account. Take screen shot, send pic to that account, save, download to main accounts phone. You'd get a better quality photo that way instead of using a phone camera, if that makes sense. I do it all the time, although for the 5 nowadays.

After doing some research it seems like the power up system and parallel system are absolutely nothing alike aside from the fact the cards overall goes up. So I don't think anyone saying they should add an EA style power up system is vindicated by the addition of the parallel system. SDS did it better

Honestly didn't like the prestige versions. I love the idea of paralleling cards

Don’t remember anyone requesting a copy of the EA power up system. When power ups were mentioned, in any form, the hate parade showed up in full force and shot down the idea. Yes, I already agreed they did it right and now the haters are in love with power ups.

Gotcha, my bad. I misunderstood and thought you were saying people were specifically asking for one like EA then I would understand the hate. Hating on a power up system in general is dumb considering how many ways it can be done right

No, nobody asked for a duplicate EA system. Like you said, they didn’t even give the idea a chance before hating on it. I laugh because I remember a couple of the members on here who were haters and now they have nothing to say but good things about the power ups.
