Free Agents signings and trades

I assume any FA signings and players that are traded to new teams will already be in 22 when it drops?
Or do you think we'll have to wait until the first roster update?
If it's the first part; the Athletics should be dirt cheap to finish.

He will be traded soon before the season starts

Too late for launch. if they havent shipped already, the disks have been in production for at least a week or two by now, in preparation for shipping out.
They ll probably have an update ready to go , like a day 1 patch or shortly thereafter. -

The most interesting thing to me is that Team Collection rewards are typically based on how expensive it is to complete a team. Higher diamonds for higher priced collection.
Now look at a team like the Marlins, decent but no stud Diamond players. Let’s say they have a high gold as their collection reward. They go out and sign a guy like Freddie Freeman (just an example) and now you have to have a high Diamond in that collection as well.
Kind of funny to me.
