Co-Op settings question ❓

Ok I did not get to play the Co-Op mode in the Tech test, what I wanted to know is, for those who did... When you set up a room can you set the controls where you don't use analog sticks to hit or pitch? I prefer buttons. Is this an option? And if so, can it be set individually or is it one for all?

It’s however you prefer to play only settings that are in play for everyone are difficulty hitting/pitching and quick counts/guess pitch on or off

Really? So I can use buttons while everyone else uses sticks?! That would be amazing! I have issues with my hands as I've gotten older being diabetic. But I'd still love to try this.
