Fun challenge for this stage of the game

Thats true. The first year of Conquest in 17 I did the USA Map 3 times for the 10 pack bundle. It was pretty enjoyable initially. Extreme in 18 was the last time I really enjoyed the gamemode, it was actually difficult and yielded good rewards.
The way they've done Conquest Extreme recently was just boring and too tedious, but I loved having to take the Yankees on turn 2 in the USA map in 18. Imo they lowered the difficulty of extreme too much.
Still I'm in favor of nuking it to the ground, or at least giving it some QOL changes. For instance can the CPU please take over my non-stronghold based moves and sim them? Hell it takes 10 minutes to move 90 tiles it seems.
You know that Freidrich Nietzsche quote, "if you stare into the abyss long enough, it'll stare back into you"?
I can't claim to really know what he meant by that, but waiting for conquest simulations to complete just so I can simulate more conquest tiles gets me pretty close lol.

That should be abolished!Showdown at least makes you focus your attention on jt. Conquest is just a boring game mode where you watch a TV show and occasionally pay attention to the game.
It is what you make it. I play every conquest game on legend, you obviously do not. If you play on rookie or veteran, it is mind numbing
I don’t remember the last time I went into a final showdown without having completed every mission and max runs . They made it super easy compared to what it was originally last year.

But at the same time why would I bother playing CQ on Legend when there is no benefit to it lol. I'd rather play online.

The simulations oy drive me nuts on the US Map because It's a challenge and can be frustrating how long it takes to gain some ground. Otherwise, I dig this game mode a lot.

I think I've done it in 5 turns. One turn to take out the Marlins and then St Louis on HOF. 2 more turns to get to and beat the Blue Jay's on HOF. 2 more turns to get to Dogers and beat them on AS or HOF, can't remember. Actually pretty easy.

I think he means filling in all the tiles. Might be 5 to beat the strongholds but more to take the tiles as that is the only way to get the RIB pack.

Yup - finished on 9th turn. No way you can do it faster and fill all the tiles. Think I only had one HOF game though as Marlins are Veteran, Cardinals HOF and then Blue Jays were definitely All Star. Didn’t pay attention to Dodgers but pretty sure that was All Star too.

Yep, I have done it all on legend and it is still 9 turns max. And things have to go right in the simulated games.

You can do it in 8, but you have to steal fans on legend every time and you can't lose a single fan while you simulate hexagons.

Geez, I never considered stealing fans. Good call, I will take your word as I never do that unless forced by a goal.
