"Lead Runner Window" GONE if Auto fielding ON...WTF?

"Lead Runner Window will no longer display if the fielder or runner settings are set to "Auto".
So we have no idea who's where and which runners are advancing or taking an extra base?? Wtf!?!?!? We're being penalized over a personal preference??
Sds really thought this was of higher importance over other needed tweaks??

seriously . Not sure how they come to the conclusion with all the other stuff wrong in the game , that this is a priority.

Ridiculous.... Always have had the option to override and do several times a game on average..... FIX THIS ASAP!

This is [censored] up. What can possibly be the reason for this? Playing showdown and have no [censored] clue what my brain dead baserunners are doing. Already had two outs directly because of it.

This needs to go back to how it was. Just played my first game after the patch installed and I screwed up heavily on the base paths.

If it was an option then ok, fine. But as far as I can tell it's not. I'm not sure what their reasoning is. All the issues with this game and the is what they "fix"?

Why auto base running though? Leave it off and don’t run?

Why not? Its offline only. Why does it matter how I play? It's one more thing I have to worry about. Nobody was asking for this.

Legit question, not a critic. If you don’t run/steal bases, leave it off? If not, you’re at the mercy of CPU logic. BTW, Showdown is under DD, so it’s not 100% offline, it’s an online reward system that plays vs the CPU.

Not angry at you, I realize most online players use manual baserunning when playing offline.
The answer is for simple things like going first to third or tagging up I'd prefer the cpu to do it for me, it saves me having to worry about it. For things like stretching a single to a double, or attempting to score from second on a single or from first on a double I like to be able to take over.
It just seems like there is no reason to make this change, it doesnt effect anyone but the offline player. Were people asking for this? Couldn't they have just added a third completely auto option?

I just don't understand the mindset this year with some of these tweaks? It's like rubbing salt while CONTINUING to open a wound.

@Collin_SDS @Victor_SDS I am usually not a complainer at all....but this is ridiculous. Absolutely ZERO reason for this to have changed base running. With all of the other issues you are having, please stop these ridiculous tweaks and just go back to the game the way it was released..

Terrible! I've been meaning to force myself to use assist so I can get ready to start playing on-line. I guess this will be my motivation.

If you are missing part of finger and thumb on left hand and have extremely hard time baserunning using both hands, then auto baserunning makes the game a whole lot more fun...…. Return this back to the way its been for years!!!!!!
