Eventually. However once he's upgraded he'll serve as a solid 4 or 5 depending what you have later on. I've had good success with him so far.

A solid 4 or 5 or 30-80k in stubs you can use for better sigs or towards mantle

I'm going to change my guesses actualy. It may meen nothing but I don't see Thome or Garciapara in the batting stance generator for 2020

I see these threads over and over the past couple of years. If you’re hoping for a player they haven’t revealed yet, I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I know we got Honus last year but typically it’s not big names after the game is out. A bigger name like Mantle, Rivera, Papi would be named before so they can use them to sell the game. It’s only lesser names that come out post game release. The 2nd inning bosses will just be good cards of people we already know about.
