My first two RS games ever.

Well, actually three. Because the first one someone asked for a Friendly Quit in the 1st inning.
I did 'play" two others.
The second one my opponent either quit of lost connection and I got the W.
Second one I matched up with someone that was 28-128ish.
Anyway, he/she played like a complete tool.
Bunt dancing, holding R2, stepping off the pitchers mound multiple times an inning, kept pausing/unpausing the game, and slide step pitched 90% if the time; even if nobody was on base.
Won 1-0. We both had 15 Ks and 2 hits. What helped me is that I hit a HR with Finest Semien in the 8th.
Closed it out with Milestone Rivera in the 9th.
Actually surprised with the way he played that he didn't quit mid-flight during Semien's homerun. But he did hit my next batter.
Tried to send him a msg after game but he has his messages off.
All in all, while the experience wasn't that great; I'll try a few more games.

In game toxicity is probably the worst its been with this series, last two years it seems like every 6 yr old picked up the game and jumped into RS.
-
Every now and then you'll run into toxic players like that. Most of the time you'll get the W. I think they try to annoy people into quitting
-
What was your opponent’s ranking?
-
You'll probably run into more of those type of players in the low hundreds cause that's where the trash lives lol. Once you get past around 400-500 it becomes less frequent

Why do people pause the game so far weird I swear 90% of the community has a mental disorder

I don’t have a ton of time to play, but it’s rare for me to get an actual game anymore….and even more rare to get a complete game without it being someone trying to cheese them game.
I’ve been left to assume that most people don’t actually like playing the game….they are just addicted to the reward paths and achievements. That’s the only thing I can assume with how many people just quit (and at times before they are even losing) or try to win by manipulating animations and what not.
