In a effort to balance the game, pinpoint pitching should use more of the pitcher stamina to make the pitcher more hittable. In short, a stamina drain penalty for every pitches using pinpoint pitching. Opinions ?

Let's start with just normal stamina drain for pinpoint and then we can talk about extra.

Pinpoint pitching is ridiculous. I think guys should be rewarded for perfect placement if they hit it right but the fact that a pitcher with 140 pitches is still in the green and dotting is stupid.

Yeah, another problem are those 125 H/9 cards they released so early, now they’re trying to release pitchers with lower H/9 but who is going to use them?

All of these are good points. I already said they should go back and change the pitcher's with 125 h9 cause that was clearly a mistake or they'd still be doing it

How about dudes still hitting 102 every pitch in the 5th inning. Should be more variance and below drop off with less stamina. Sure they may still throw 98-99 but the fact they seem to throw the max speed every time is super unrealistic

I envisage them all having the old Spinal Tap mentality when it comes to creating stats, “Dude this goes to 11, that’s like 10% more exciting than 10!” Next year, you’ll probably get stats that go to 160 or 200, “to separate the real legends from the regular superstars.” Just like when they implemented the 125 scale then immediately consigned the concept to irrelevancy by making every other card have stats over 100. Now we need that 200 scale to show how much better Prime Mickey Mantle was than 2020 PS Corey Seager or Topps Now someone-who-has-only-played-23-games-in the-MLB-but-has-a-better-card-than-Babe-Ruth.
