Knowing which Rotation spot or Bullpen Spot is selected.

Some of you may consider this as a cheat. But I see it as strategy from my part. Most The 1st, 2nd & 3rd Starters 1 has within their rotation are the 1's their highest rated Starters due to how the game defaults them being listed in the Starter selection screen when setting up a game.
Each time your opponent scrolls done, you can "HEAR" it & count how far he did scroll own. This lets you know easily if he selected his #1, #2, #,3, #4 or #5 Starter. Or if he went with a Bullpen arm as a Starter & which slot within (MR, SU or CL). I back out from the game if I "HEAR" anyone choosing their 1st, 2nd or 3rd & I only proceed with those who chose their 4th, 5th or Bullpen. This lets me face a Pitcher that has a lower ranking which does in turn provide lower attributes with either H/9 & HR/9. Even if it's a 99 Bullpen arm with highest of attributes. That arm can NOT go more then 3 or 4 Innings before needing to be replaced. As well most times commonly the 4th or 5th Starter or Bullpen arm is a card they are using as a mission & maybe even for 1st time ever. So it's now them feeling out that Pitcher for 1st time & making mistakes with him.
All of this gives me a slight edge with the quality of Pitching I am facing. Lets me have slight control & choice with who I am matched up with. I see it as strategy & NOT as cheating.
How do you guys feel about this? As well is this something new to you that you never realized before you could do? Is this something you will now try yourself?

Everyone know about this and backing out anytime you think you don't have an easy win is definitely a chump move
-
At this point in the year, every pitcher is a 99 so you don't face a pitcher with lower ranking

I "NEVER" said it was an EASY Win for me. Just gives me a better odds to preform better off a 4th/5th Starter.

All 99's. Stick Verlander in the 4th or 5th slot. You're not going to get around it.

You missed the part I said about those using "Mission Cards" as their 4th/5th Starter & MOST of those Mission Cards are NOT 99 rated Cards with most of it's Attributes within 95 Plus. maybe 1 to 3 attributes will be 95 plus, but not 5-7 attributes being 95 Plus like with most of the highest rated 99 Starters being commonly used y most as their 1st, 2nd & 3rd

I didn't miss it, it's not a thing. People who play ranked, especially past 500/600 ranking aren't having some meh mission cards in their rotation.

Well I am NOT that good & I am NOT shamed to admit that. The highest I get to within ranked is DS & CS. I have a hard time trying to stay within DS/CS before I hit a losing streak & getting knocked down to WC or even RS. This year is my worst year so far due to all the tweaks & changes they made with swing timing window & having a handful of Pitchers throwing 102 MPH. The highest I got to so far & very short lived & enjoyed was DS. So UNTIL my game play skills improve more to a steady CS level & hopefully WS level, I need every strategic edge I can get.

Someone could go down two spots in the rotation then click back up 2 spots to end up at number 1. It would sound like they went down 4 spots to number 5. I've actually done this once or twice when I was waiting for my opponent to pick a pitcher.
I should add that it doesn't matter too much which pitcher I choose as I am probably a below average player.
-
My entire rotation is all 99s, so if you did that against me you're still facing a 99 lol. I do think that's kind of a lame move though. I hate it when people I match up with back out before the game starts
-
I scroll back and forth about 20 times so all you hear is click click click click click click click click and than I chose
-
If that works for you and you’ve had success then more power to you. It’s a fair to use that strategy. I click back and forth because sometimes I don’t remember what pitcher I used last. So I got to check out their stamina. 99 Pedro is my fifth starter at p3. My top starter is Degrom at p5. I rarely use him.
