But just heard & seen the news I have been hoping & praying for so many years now.
SDS, Your days are numbered. Start the count down because if you guys (the developers) does NOT improve this game to what most in here are wanting it to be. Then you will lose half & maybe even more then half of your customer base. You have 4 years to do this, because .......
EA is relaunching MVP Baseball in 2024.

This has been in talks for a while now. EA failed at bringing basketball back and I don’t know if they can pull a modern baseball game off. Or should I say I don’t have a lot confidence in EA to pull off a worthy baseball title.

You’re mistaken. You need to use that $100 card you bought a week ago, put in another $100 to upgrade and then you get a card that is rated 1 or 2 points higher.

If it's on par with what we got from MVP 2005, I'll make the switch.

EA MVP Baseball 2005 as the BEST baseball game ever released up until 2005. The game play was awesome & they were the 1st to do a Stadium Creator which SDS couldn't do until 2021. Only thing that was bad with EA MVP 2005 was the graphics if you compare to how software has advanced thru the years to what it is now today. As well with EA knowing the are entering Baseball again without having a Monopoly on it like SDS has had for the last several years. I am pretty sure they will NOT make it "pay-to-win" because at the end of the day they need to poach MLBTS players if they are to be successful at all.

You are being overly optimistic if you believe it will be any different than any other current EA Sports title. It would probably have more in common with Madden 22 than MVP Baseball 2004.

Better to play this then NOTHING at all. Like I said in an other post. easy being #1 when there is NO COMPETITION. ..... Now that Competition is soon coming.

EA is terrible , they cant compare to the product SDS puts out.

They have the same business model from NHL to Madden to FIFA. I don’t know why they’d make it any different

With all their premier titles I don’t know if they’ll allocate the right resources to make a serious attempt. If it doesn’t produce the projected revenue or meet some form of basic market share it’ll be scraped.

Genre's which they have a Monopoly all on & is why they have the power to make it "pay-to-win". But 2K has the Monopoly on Basketball & SDS has the Monopoly with baseball. Therefor EA MVP 2024 surely will NOT be "pay-to-win" because that will have them fail before they even begin.

theyre not though I bet with them acquiring metal head studios super mega baseball they will just spin off that series
