How Do You All Feel About Extra Innings Rule?
-
It's the current rules. I haven't found a reason to worry either way.
-
I hope they get rid of it. I am not a fan of it at all. I know MLB is trying to speed the game up and not have so many long extra inning games, but c'mon...just sticking a man on base isn't the answer.

EXACTLY MY POINT!!!!! For REAL Baseball I understand why even though I do NOT approve or agree. It does makes sense with how long games are taking now. But I rather see games stopped once they complete the 12th Inning regardless if tied. The victor can be then decided on which team had more hits & total bases thru out & least errors committed. A back up scoring system based on how many walks, hits, doubles, triples & steals. So when any game reaches the end of the 12th Inning, then the team with the highest back up score wins. That to me sound more logical then using a handicap.

Ok. This has to be trolling right?

I don't have a strong opinion about it one way or the other, It's meh

In real life baseball I absolutely hate the rule and I hope they change it. I actually like it in this game for some reason though.

It's way TOO EASY to exploit. I do it all the time in Conquest & feel like if I am cheating. All i do is bunt him over to 3rd & then Power Swing next At Bat to fly out deep enough (if not a hit or HR) & just tag him up easily. It feels like I am cheating because I was given that runner on 2B. I did NOT earn the runner over to 2B

Im pretty sure they announced they are reverting back to regular extra inning rules next year
-
Manfred said this and the 7 inn double headers are done. So I think we seen our last of both. Both were implemented because of the super short COVID season. Next years game wont have it if the MLB doesnt have it. If there is MLB when this game is released.

You kids and your new-fangled internet-speak. Trolling? To me, a troll is that ogre-type beast under the bridge waiting for you to cross over so he can steal your lunch money. Unless, of course, you typed an extra letter and meant tolling...then to me that is the ogre type beast waiting at the entrance of the bridge waiting for you to cross over so they can steal your lunch money.
Kids these days...
