At this point of the year, why not make these WS packs? That's be awesome! And it would lower the prices of those cards too!
-
I like your idea. But I also love being able to make half a million or more on flipping live diamonds at the end of every month.
-
How about hell no. They've already given far too much away, and what you suggest would take their value to nothing in a couple of innings. WS rewards actually used to mean something, until this year. If you really want something you're missing either make ws, work the market, or spend out of pocket.

Because you didn't win WS. Or complete the WS program.
-
That's a no from me dawg

I don't play much ranked...even got to like 25 wins last season and just quit with two weeks left because I don't like it that much... but in no way do I think this is a good idea. These dumb Rewind packs have already killed BR, Events and RS awards value as is. Not to mention on the part of SDS, it would not work well at all with their business model.
-
I agree. I can't get to WS because 1) I'm not good enough and 2) I can't get to 25 or 30 wins because I don't have the time nor the willpower to suffer through that much RS.
It's just a game and they cycle is ending. Just release them all in a 1MM choice pack.
-
Maybe like 100k, but not 650k

WS packs shouldn’t be part of inning programs of course, but I really don’t get the “rewind packs are bad” take. Who cares if older cards lose some value? New rewards are still expensive for quite a while, and cards like Jansen and Verlander are still worth a good amount even though they’re in rewind packs. Do you honestly think cards like the 96 Stanton should still be going for like 250k? Rewind packs, along with BR and RS programs, are some of the most consumer friendly things SDS has ever done.

I agree. I don't mind the rewind packs at all, or the programs. The WS/BR rewards still hold pretty good value but aren't waitlisted. I say the programs accomplished exactly what they were created for. That being said putting these packs in inning programs would be really stupid. Definitely keep them in the mode they originally came from

Being my first year, there are always those things that I don't see the full picture on. It had seemed to me like the programs were doing their job for the most part, but at the same time, some of the cards from early on in the year were starting to creep up before Rewind hit. I guess I come from the camp of not everyone necessarily gets everything and it seems like the combo of programs and rewind doesn't necessarily make rewards that special. Again, I don't have the back story to see the importance of things like rewind.

Lets put it this way. Last year I paid a million stubs for Like 15 cards, some of which were George Foster, Dustin Pedroia, and Ben Zobrist. If not for the rewind packs cards like 90 Sandberg, 92 Schmidt, 92 Brock would be pushing a million right now. There is no reason that anyone that puts a decent amount of time into playing the market shouldn't have an opportunity to purchase said cards. You know the 30 posts a day about that common on the angels not being able to be purchased? It was the same deal last year except with Ted Williams, Pujols, Mays, Chipper, and Billy Wagner. The good cards in the rewind packs have held their value, like Verlander, Kenley, and Harper. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to purchase a card like Matt weiters or Kyle seager for a reasonable price.
