You mean that if you hear the sound immediately, you know they are using their ace pitcher? What does the sound indicate?

I think he means no sound is SP1, 1 sound SP2, 2 sound SP3 and so forth. I know what he’s saying your ace would be at top and the 5th would be 4 “sounds” sound indicates the guy scrolling his rotation
I'm not sure that everyone has their pitchers in order. Plus, someone could scroll up and down before choosing their pitcher. But yes, I tend to agree, that if I hear no sound when choosing my pitcher, obviously they chose their first pitcher, which for most people is their ace.
