Hitting is way to easy, pitching at a major disadvantage
-
I can’t say this game is just like 18 or 19 because in ways in plays a lot different but overall I don’t like it so far. Fastball is worthless and you don’t get strikes called on the edge so you have to through down the middle.
Hitting though is just way to entirely easy. It’s so easy it’s not even fun, I want to feel that it’s a challenge for both me and the person I’m playing with pitch strategy and location but none of that matters as it’s so easy to square up a ball.
I really hope they increase pitcher user input where if you hit the green it goes where you aim and make the fastball something challenging to hit and not a meatball.
Bottom line is the games way to easy to hit and pitching makes little sense. -
Hitting would not be so easy if they gave you strikes on the corners or lines when you hit them. You are correct, you end up having to throw it in the middle of the strike zone to get the call.

You’re playing on the easiest setting since you’re 399 in RS. Try out HoF and let us know how you feel.

I was critical of this game early on (throwing errors etc), but the patches applied have made a difference and I think the game plays closely to '18 and '19. I play Franchise and won a of pitchers pitchers duels ,2-1 , 1-0. Thanks again SDS.

I’ve played HOF against friends , hard to even enjoy RS to get to higher levels. My point stands about the strike zone being squeezed and needing to through in the middle to get calls. BR is all all star and so the entire experience is muttled.

Its Legend or nothing!!

Since thaT first patch nearly every game I would say there are 30 combined strikeouts. Hitting has been much harder

Nothing but homeruns pitching is a joke.

I played my first game on HoF and was actually pleasantly surprised. One of my biggest gripes has been inability to strikeout but there was actually a lot of Ks on HoF
