Can’t catch pop fly’s

Does anyone know why when there is a fly ball my player gets highlighted takes a few steps and then stops . I exchanged my game for a new game and uninstalled everything and the same thing happened with the new game . I’ve been playing this game for 10 years and have never had a problem like this . The infield and outfield are fine when it comes to ground balls and works perfectly it’s just every fly ball they take two steps and stop. I reported it as a bug last Friday but it is still happening . Any ideas out there ?

I've noticed this today as well on infield pop-ups especially if it's in between pitcher and catcher, it'll just freeze up players. Will report.
