Pitcher Wall is Back...

Last game I had 2 screamers up the middle hit off the pitcher and then I got thrown out at 1st... Happened again in the bottom of the 8th in a tied game with a runner on 3rd and 2 outs...

Yeah, I hit the pitcher and the ball bounced to the third base line, that same pitcher got to the ball and threw out a guy with 92 speed at first.

I had a 103Mph liner hit Kershaw in the head and he picked it up and threw me out at first. No ill effects whatsoever. Never knew Kershaw had an iron skull.

It sounds like he caught it with his teeth and spat it to first lol. I would like that feature in the game too since pitchers can take shots any part of the body like nothing and still get the out.

The wall is still there but they have improved it some over the last few years so it is not an automatic out. I beat out far more of them than I used to in previous years. If they ricochet far then they usually don't go straight to a fielder and fielders seem to react slower. Sometimes the 1B doesn't even cover.

To be fair it was game 2 of the WS in MTO, so maybe his skull gains density in the playoffs.
