Showdown pisses me off
-
I have no idea why but my first try doing AL East i literally ran right through it won the entire thing in like 20 minutes no problem. Ever since then the last 4 times i havent been able to get past chris sale.
-
NL East I was down 14-15 with 9 outs left and runners on first and third. I “lost” 15-15. Haven’t come close since.

Showdowns are the worst addition ever
I honestly wish they would just remove them from the game completely. Like a failed experiment.
-
I'm sick of the first inning showdown
-
I'm loving the challenge of showdowns. I'm happy its not a mindless never ending grind. You really have to focus up, be patient and play the game. They are all very doable. Challenging? Yes. But very doable.
-
I like the concept of Showdowns but they're pretty difficult. I really just don't like the all or nothing part of it. Since they're tied to team affinity maybe tweak it a little so that you get like one voucher for beating the first elimination challenge, an additional voucher for beaten the second and the the other vouchers if you complete the entire showdown. Right now the best you can do (if you don't beat the whole thing) is to earn your entry fee back and get a silver and gold card.
Or maybe even make the entry fee free and then charge to go back and complete missed elimination challenges, instead of having to do the whole thing over again.
-
The elimination factor should only come into play in the final stage of the event. This game has too much RNG for us to spend 1000 stubs an entry only to hit screamers to the outfield every time. Then we as the community get pissed off and waste our time.
-
Got Hader to 71 pitches and he still had yellow energy. The mode is so fixed its not even funny. I love the idea of showdown, but its got a lot of tweaking that needs to he done.

This 100%%%% never understood why there are mini showdowns. Like we’re here for the final showdown only. Its bad enough playing a mode that i don't use my own DD team.

Yeah, it's the all or nothing part that makes it so frustrating. I hate moments too, but at least I can restart those.
-
Next patch they SDS could just implement sub-bosses and the main boss.
Sub-Bosses- No elimination if you fail, if you fail you continue on but no stubs or exp.
Bosses- Like how it is currently. You lose and you have to restart the event, however it feels like the players we face are Ruby colored legends. So please make it at least a little more playable.
-
Honestly, just stop messing with the sliders. If I'm playing vs CPU on rookie I get at least two meatballs per at bat, in Showdown on rookie on getting walked. How is that? Especially on missions that require homers and extra base hits, not just runs.

Git gud scrubs
-
Picture Damon Wayans and David Allan Grier from "In Living Color" doing "men on film" for my opinion on Showdown- "Hated it!"
Sorry i'm old and that's the first thing that popped in my head!

Yeah, this is ridiculous, honestly.

it’s awful. it’s doable, but pitchers sure don’t pitch like a play now vs cpu game veteran the bosses just dot corners left and right.
not to mention i don’t get where some of these outfields get these cannons when tagging upOr where they have horrible fielding but they be looking like Ken Griffey Jr. and Andruw Jones in the outfield running everything down making diving All-Star plays
