Cardinals win 16th straight

O'Neill with another clutch hit and RBI, he has to get the POTM. Talk about red hot
This is the first time a NL team has won 16 in a row since the Giants in 1951.

I know bro I’m happy for Schildt! Fans and journalists were all over him earlier this year callin for his job. He’s a good dude and a baseball lifer. Nobody wants to win more than he does. Players gotta perform! He can’t go out there and do it. Well they’re performing now!

I mean i'm a Cubs fan but you have to give credit when credit is due and this is pretty incredible what they are doing right now. I would actually call them the dark horse going into the playoffs. If theres one thing i've learnt it's you never count the Cardinals out.

We shall see. I’ll root for the Cubs if the Cards aren’t in it. I was at Wrigley several years ago when Carp hit 3 bombs and 2 doubles.

Finally clicking on all cylinders. Brewers are lucky this is happening late, they wouldn't have been able to overcome the Red Storm!

This is why the Cardinals v. Cubs rivalry is the best in the sport. A truly friendly rivalry. Don't get me wrong, they've had their moments, when the Cubs made the 2016 WS, I rooted for them despite being a life long Red Bird fan. Both teams have amazing fans. Did you hear the crowd at Wrigley pop for Bader's bomb today?
In 2006, the Cards went 83-79 and won the world series. In 2011, they snuck in and beat the juggernaut Phillies, and beat the heavy favorites Brewers and Rangers. They can definitely get it done if this
streak holds. -
