I finished all the TA4 programs and have used everyone enough to make a fair judgement.
This seems impossible. Thirty cards dropped less than 72 hours ago. I can’t imagine how you’ve used them all enough to have made a fair judgment. It probably takes like 75+ ABs to get a good feel for a new hitter.
I did all the conquest. I don't have 75 at bats with all of them but I've used all of them a decent amount. Enough to see swing, exit velocity, etc. My opinion on some of these might change but tbh some of these players I doubt I'll use anymore.

I finished all the TA4 programs and have used everyone enough to make a fair judgement. The obvious winners from TA are Mantle,Honus and Frank(still debating if Frank is the best first baseman). The real suprisingly good card was Bob Gibson. He doesn't have outlier but he does throw 100. Plus he has great control and break on all 5 pitches. I think this card is easily one of the beetter pitchers in the game now, I pitched 3 full games with him and all three he had 20 plus strikeouts, His windup and delivery are a lot like Nolan Ryan. Walter Johnson and Bob Feller are also good but Im kinda thinking Bob might be the real gem. What's your thoughts on the new pitchers?
RS on all star or hof? Or cpu games?
All star RS.
Thanks. Please update your opinion after a similar sample size on hof. I totally agree with Honus and frank. Mantle is hitting sub .200 amd its annoying me. Haven't used Gibson yet but Kershaw is good, really good. In loving biggio amd boggs too. Not so much gonzo.
kershaw got rocked my first game i used iwth him..
doesn't give me the same amount of trust like when i have verlander, degrom, nate pearson, bob feller on the mound... -

It's good to hear about Kershaw. I'm going to lock in and get him now. I could probably get him today. Boggs is my best hitter right now, I will let you know how Gibson does on HOF. I'm going to guess that I'm not nearly as good as you if you do great on HOF. I'm not bad but hitting is up and down. I do pitch fairly well. I really like Bobs pitch mix,
My hitting has plummeted in the last month or month-and-a-half it sometimes feels like I'm not even playing the same game I was playing earlier in the year. I've also lost a considerable amount of Interest and I'm just collecting cards and still playing but I really don't care about stats or winning or losing anymore.

That's a mature mindset. I respect that. After nearly dying in December I don't take anything for granted and don't let little things bother me. Especially a game. Aslo Ive noticed I used to hit much better earlier in the year too, I have my moments when Indo really well but most of the time I don't score a lot of runs and usually win from pitching and playing decent small ball.

Just have fun and don't take it too seriously. It's a video game. Sometimes we lose our patience but in the end its nothing important.

And this is why I throw his FB less than 10% of the time, until opponents start sitting off speed.
Use that timing data to your advantage. Don't give them what they're looking for. Pearson is a stud for me, one of my favorite pitchers of any year.

I think if he had one more pitch that had some velocity it would be better. Like a cutter or 2 seam but I also don't want made up pitches to make a card better like Cabrera

His slider is hard enough for me, and a big enough differential that it looks like a FB until late. We all prefer different cards, glad I got Pearson before he jumped up to 100K+.

I will definitely give him another shot. Was his card last year a bullpen card or did people just use it as a reliever because that was the cheese meta?

His 99 was part of the extreme program last year, very few people had him. Hence the reason he was released as part of this weeks content. Lots of cards that are very good, and normally VERY expensive. It's the same SP card as last year.

Number one port with this game is that unless you have what SDs deems meta pitches, great pitchers are worthless. Fernando killed it until the nerfed the screwball. Butpitching greats or great active pitchers are worthless unless the have outlier, a sinker or cutter combo. Also hitting is so off it isn’t funny. Game play has driven me away and I used to love playing ranked seasons. Last year and this year has made it really pointless

They never nerfed his screwball, he's still got an ERA under 1 for me in 450 innings pitched. If you want to spread information, make sure it's accurate.
