The moments for this took 20 mins or so
I got the 10 strike outs in ranked in about 15 mins
So it would have been 35 mins. But I continued the ranked game.
I had started the program at about 7:20pm UKT so had already missed the boat
We’re you playing ranked in Spring Training? If you were taking serious at bats and not bunting all while getting 10 SO in a higher level against someone also taking serious ABs means you basically had 10 SO in a row all while you hit the first pitch or two every AB to do it in 15 minutes, No?
Was playing AS, i had Gibson on the mound. I literally only pitched 10/11 balls first 4 innings i was lucky the guy was swing happy.
In that time i wasn't playing properly but then hit a HR with Mookie and a couple of others in the 3rd, so decided to keep playing as i need the 10 dubs.
He quit in the 5th after deliberately hitting about 6 batters in a row.

Well done, that’s super fast and nice job pitching!

If someone guessed Wainwright from the clues, maybe they started a CPU game vs. the cardinals about 30 minutes before the program was scheduled to drop and then they were set up to be ahead of the curve almost immediately.
-
I guess I have the world's worst luck. I can't tell you the last time I played an inning in RS that lasted less than 5 minutes. Between people watching every single cutscene (whatever you want to call those) and pausing every 5 seconds.. Then dealing with constant R2 pressing. Games are lasting 45+ minutes each time.
-
To be fair, pitching moments tend to be one-and-done, and there weren’t too many long ones. I ended up getting lucky starting a cardinals pitcher in br and the guy quit after one batter, which made it a lot easier.

Took my like 20 minutes to do the moments. I beat STL but I went all put and won 22-0. I could've bunted the entire game and won 1-0 and did it 5 minutes if I wanted to. It's not that hard honestly.
You can hit and pitch 9 innings in 5 min? Naa that's not happening man, sorry. It's at least 15 min to get through 9 inn on All Star
Get 1 run real fast in the first inning and then bunt every single at bat. Make sure you don't give up a run. I was maybe understating the 5 minutes. Maybe up 10 ten minutes so I can see how someone could discover the card in 30 minutes.
I ran through the moments on the first attempt on each, so it really didn't take me that long for that part of this player program.

I saw Wainwright was discovered in less than 30 minutes. Just how? I understand people boosting with hitters but pitching just takes time. I’m probably completely out of the loop with how people cheat this game. Also if you do cheat/boost to discover a card how can you even feel like you accomplished anything?
Took me around the same time - that was an easy card to obtain

I’m still going to call BS on getting this card in under 30 minutes real time unless one of two things that have been mentioned happened.
You guessed right and played a CPU game and paused it with one out to go and waited for the content to drop and finished the game. Or you get lucky with a guy quitting right away online.
In 30 minutes realtime I don’t think you guys are factoring in load times (which I understand are much faster but still take time), matching up with an online opponent, not having that opponent screw around at all, also the CPU fouls a ton of balls off. Those all seem like little things but do add up.
I believe 35-40 minutes sure and under the absolute perfect scenario maybe under 30 is possible but don’t act like it’s no problem. I might be mistaken but to get to 50 you had to do all but two moments, the exchange then either one online mission and beat the CPU in 9 innings or skip the CPU and do both online missions.
I’ll give you 20 minutes to beat moments and 10 minutes to beat a CPU game now you’re at 30 minutes and still need to get online. I’m not seeing it without the two scenarios I first said happening.

I don't think it's cheating at all. They just complete the moments ASAP and then start a vs CPU game and bunt or strike out on purpose after scoring a few runs, then pitch it out. Some even IBB a runner to set up a DP to make things even faster. People are resourceful.
Remember this though; discovering a card does absolutely nothing. Yeah it will show you username. Woopti-f-ing-doo.
Yeah, but your name is immortalized forever digitally in the show for all who even know to look!!!!!

That's true. I discovered the low diamond version of Trevor Hoffman in 2018, I added it to my resume. As you can imagine, recruiters were over me like flies on a steaming pile of sh*t.

It really isn't that hard. I had 8 ks and the win for a cards pitcher in 10 minutes in event game, had I decided to play another game it would've taken me another 3-4 minutes max to get the last 2 ks with gallegos. And then the four quick moments I finished in about 15 minutes. Could've gotten it done in less than 30 minutes if I really wanted to, but decided to play the 10k moment and finished in about 34 total minutes. Was keeping track because I was playing on lunch break
Edit: I did start after everything was announced, so saved time just adding gallegos and flarehty to my event lineup. And I just checked and didn't come close to 8ks that first game. Don't know what I was thinking. Still think it's possible under perfect circumstances though

Sounds like I’d hire you….we’re currently looking for piles of sh*t. How proficient are you with TPS reports?

I thought the thread post said “discover card.” I was hoping someone in the community posted their credit card for everyone to use to buy stubs.

Fair enough

When I try to bunt to get outs the game makes me bunt foul at least once or twice, lol.
-
Just did an experiment with a conquest game.
Only disclaimer is I thought I hit start on my stopwatch at the menu but realized it wasn’t going until I entered the game not one pitch was thrown but my very first batter was at the plate when I hit start on the timer.
Very first pitch I hit a single, third pitch of the game I hit one off the wall had runners on 2nd and third. The fourth pitch of the game I hit a sacrifice fly and purposely get my other runner out for a DP and then bunted for the third out and I am up 1-0
I had Miller on the mound who has one of the fastest releases in the game and Reyes warming up who also has a fast release. I actually got a decent amount of batters out on three pitches. My ABs were all bunts.
I played as fast as I could and actually thought the game was going really fast. The CPU had zero hits. I basically did a perfect start to the game short of hitting a lead off homer and it still took 6 minutes 39 seconds to complete the game.
Keep in mind I was already in the game so from the menu I would imagine it would be more around 7 min 15 seconds. That’s a three inning game with fast pitchers. Try it yourself I don’t think you guys play as fast as you may think you are.
-
Here is the video of the game to see for yourself. For you guys saying you can finish a CPU 9 inning game in 10 minutes I don't believe it.

I do an average job, spend a lot of time drinking coffee and in the restroom. My lunches are usually too long and I leave a few minutes early every day. But I did discover Hoffman, so that should allow me to be this extra.

I seriously think a lot of these were the type of kids where they would tell their mom "I'll turn it off in 15 minutes, I swear"...2 hours later "It hasn't been 15 minutes yet!!!"

Yup and once you show proof crickets……..
Let’s just say you were able to knock off 1 minute of my time that’s still around 5 and 1/2 minutes per three innings putting a full game at 16-17 minutes and you need a decent amount of things happening like no hitting the cpu and hoping they don’t foul a bunch of balls off. 10 minutes is not happening, it just isn’t.
Honestly the best thing to do sometimes is watch a recording of yourself play. I read a lot “ I squared up everything and my opponent sucks and got a homer off a ball not near the pci and I lost” and admittedly I would think that sometimes too. I then started rewatching parts of the game and truthfully I was not hitting or pitching near as well as I thought I was during the game. It’s very easy to get caught up in the emotion.
