    1. Hitting in br is wayy easier than ranked. I face Edward Cabrera in both modes today and it was noticeably easier to hit him in BR.

    2. In the ranked game I played against Cabrera tonight he blanked me until the 6th inning. I was squaring up a good amount of balls but they were caught or fouled off. The last 3 inning were very different. I ended up putting up 3 on Cabrera in the 6th, I couldn't miss, and then I think 3 more against gossage in the 8th and 9th. It feels like something changes in the last few inning of ranked games.

The game plays so inconsistently from mode to mode. BR vs RS, custom practice vs COTW, vs cpu to moments...

IMO this is the aspect of the game that needs to be changed to most, but considering the trajectory it has been on the last few years, this seems highly unlikely.

One thing that always grinds my gears is the difference in cpu play. On rookie conquest the cpu will float you pitches right down the middle, but on rookie moments they are hitting corners and throwing alot of stuff off the plate. It's obvious they want moments to be a time sink and it's frustrating.

I never play RS on All Star so not sure how it plays. So I expect it to be easier than HoF in RS.

Once the starter comes out the flood gates seem to open. Starters are OP this year. My top bullpen guys are par 2 and I have multiple par 4 and 5 starters. Well one par 5 Ohtani. Rest are 4.

Can’t really compare BR to Ranked. Keep in mind, BR is a 3 inning game and it’s supposed to be a mock of the last 3 innings of a game. In BR, most SP are tired after 20-25 pitches, Ranked they can go 100+ before tiring. Also, all players with any kind of clutch rating or quirk that activates at the end of the game, are in play from the start for BR.

So, for someone who doesn't play a ton of online, would you guys consider BR easier than RS? I mean, obviously this post indicates that hitting is but that could also mean BR is harder to pitch based on savagesteves points.

I'm new to online and i've had the opposite experience.

In RS I'm 9-1. And could be 10-0 because i agreed to quit in exchange for some missions in my one loss.

In BR I'm lucky to win 2 in a row. And I play more BR because I'm addicted to drafting.

If you only played that many RS games that means you played mainly on Veteran level. You have to get to like 450 before All Star level starts and 700 to play on HoF. So it is very easy at the beginning. Not to take away from what you have done just making a note that it will get tougher.

Of course. I did reach All Star, but I have no expectations beyond that.

Oh god, it gets tougher? I mean, I figured but the PCI is already the size of a pencil head and everyone starts Garret Crochet throwing 102 with break or All Star Degrom. I really want to break through and play online because I'm done with either everything else until they add more. But I just can't hit that well.

Lol, yeah, gets way tougher. Just gotta keep grinding. Your gonna have some learning curves but it will just make you better. Just dont focus on your record and just get better at hitting the best you can. And dont be obvious pitching. Mix locations and don't fall in any kind of pitching rhythms like you might against the CPU.

Good call, the funny thing is, I pitch well. Not saying i dominate but i can almost always keep myself in the game. If I could average 3-4 runs a game, I'd win a good chuck of them . That's a good reminder though not to pitch predictably That's an easy habbit to fall into especially after playing CPU a lot. Thanks.
