Is 99 Jackie still worth it?

I'll run someone else at 2nd for a few days and he just goes right back!!!
Just when you think you got him out of your system he pulls you back in.
-
I got him late, but he'll shock you at how good he is.
I had LS Lindor since day 1 and got him to P4 at second and had to get the Signature one. I have Chipper at SS, because Signature Longo is too good but has no secondary positions so is at 3B.
That meant I could use Jackie to PR, PH, or as a defensive replacement -

Absolutely worth it. He will either be in your lineup or on your bench all year. Even without the highest power numbers he crushes the ball

Yes, he’s got speed, pop and can play gold defense in multiple positions with diamond at second depending on parallels, at the very least he’s a great bench utility.. And for two cards at these prices, yes get him.
he doesn't really have pop for me. I have 400+ at bats with only 38 home runs. He is a great lead off guy though.
-
Tbh Silver Slugger DJ LeMahieu is my sleeper pick for 2B. I have as many home runs as I had with Jackie in less than 200 at bats.
-
If you’re a fan then yea
-
I don’t see Jackie ever leaving the leadoff spot
I play on HOF and above and I’ve managed to keep his average above .400
Just an amazing card

Diamond defense at parallel 4, diamond speed, insane contact and vision and very good pop, both sides of the plate. Still very much one of the best cards in the game.

Jackie and Chipper have been my 2 best hitters by far
Amen to this. Mookie is taking that spot now though. Card is insane
-
A fast 1B , he great.

I am trying to currently get him and only need 2 more cards to be bought for him and working on the 1st affinity cards slowly.
Since I was no where close until today I figure I may as well lock it since I'm 2 cards needed to buy and will likely get the affinity stuff done as I'm going along playing.
I played him a while ago and he seems great.
Just gotta get him and Parallel 5.
I'm also 2 cards off of getting Ohtani which I want just because its Ohtani and honestly kinda like using him in the game in general. This is probably my most fun playing a game tbh that I've had in a long time although I mostly play offline because of my internet and well my hitting online is hit or miss(no pun intended). From playing 2K to playing this I haven't really even thought about 2K at all and I'm glad I gave this game another chance.
Jackie has been my best player all year.

Everyone saying Jackie has pop I don't understand. I have Jackie and I'm batting over .400 with hiim but rarely hit homeruns with him. Even when you hit it hard it doesn't go out. I do have 38 home runs but on a really large sample size. DJ has less power on paper but he crushes home runs and has better defense.

It's fun to complete the collection and he's a beast. Plus, 42 packs are dropped in every monthly, someinnging programs and there's one in the shark conquest. I agree, this is a lot of fun, I hardly play online, I complete all programs through cpu play, missions, moments, collections and exchanges. It's a solid program and since the Jackie helps you to get Mookie and the cards are readily available and cheap now, go for it.
