Battle Royale Pack Question

I finally got my first BR Pack. If I wait until the next program to open it (in about 2 days) will I be able to choose the new player(s) that add? Trying to decide if it makes a difference when I open it. Thanks in advance!

If you wanted the new rewards you would have had to wait at 11-0 and then get the 12th win when the new program started.

Also, if it's the pack you get from the 100pts Program, you only get to choose from who is available at that time.

The only benefit of not opening is if you want to wait in hopes one of the cards goes up more than the others. I still have an unopened pack from 2 seasons ago. No players get added as others have said, but if I were to open that pack now Garret Anderson would be the “best” player to pick today but that wasn’t the case when I got the pack if that makes sense. So if you don’t need the players or stubs right now, holding isn’t completely irrational as there is option value.

Thanks for all of the answers and I doubt I will ever get that 12th win. I just finished my best run at 10-1. I haven't really played much BR until this program. I've learned it certainly takes some luck for most players to get 12 wins. I know I was lucky to get to 10.

Playing BR makes you a worse hitter and a better pitcher if you are coming over from higher levels of RS.

This was the case in previous years, however this year it looks like you can hold it. a prominent streamer this year held his 12-0 pack that was earned prior to last months program start and opened it after the new program dropped and was able to select Harper/Jansen. Hopefully SDS has fixed it but I’d hold it just to be sure cause I don’t know if they’re aware of this. In the oft chance that they are, I doubt anything’s been patched to fix it yet. @Colin_SDS
