I like events typically, but man oh man this one is brutal and just a grind and a half and im at like 21 wins so fml
I normally like events and switched over to this one right after finishing up BR. I have made a few comments in other threads about hitting seeming different lately...but it is now making me wonder if it is this specific event. Are you guys seeing perfect PCI placement not resulting in much with this event? Just seems like nothing is carrying at all.
It’s not just the event. Nothing is carrying in conquest either. Game sucks right now.

I can’t help but feel this every time I attempt events. From the lovely lag to the sweaty opponents, there isn’t much to like about events at all. You can say it … HOT GARBAGE !!
Is there anything about this game that you do like? Id the answer is no; then why do you keep playing?
It's like someone saying that they're getting a headache from smacking their head against a wall; but yet still smack their head against a wall.
Game is fun when the connections are good. So fun about half the time or less. Game just plays differently for coast people. Watch a bunch of coast streamers and they rarely have connection issues. Only takes a few batters to tell how the connection is. I think if I quit every time the connection was bad, I would play like 40% of games or so.

Just played an event game - up 1-0 going to the bottom of the third. I go to Dibble - guy turns around a high fastball - Jonny Damon no less- tied at 1. Bichette hits a late is great bloop over SS. Runner on first no out. Guy leads off one step, then 2, got him picked off - Dibble throws it in the dugout. Runner on second - grounder moves him to third and lazy Gary is up...2-2 count and 35 bunting lazy Gary lays down the perfect bunt in between pitcher and first and of course Jackie throws it to the wrong side of home and Jorge drops the ball - that's how you lose an event game!

Thank you for being honest about this game, some can’t. Bottom line this game is in the poor category online. Nobody can really deny it and be taken seriously.

I’m sorry you had the usual negative experience in events good sir. I’m just amazed you didn’t encounter immense lag. Or perhaps you just didn’t mention it. I know I barely won a 1-0 game myself last night. The usual Lag R’ Us experience couldn’t even hit despite sitting on his numerous fastballs high in the middle zone. Fortunately closed my eyes and got lucky on the walk off win. Thought to myself, I love this game!!!!!! (not) 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Huh. I like events.
-
Another amazing event experience!!! Warping pitch speeds. Nobody can hit until extras, then we can magically both hit! I lose on a combination of my First Baseman doing the scripted Olay BS cause it’s extras on top of throwing home and having him catch it a little on the right and take his sweet delayed time applying the tag. This game is lit!!!!

I rarely ever face "toxic" opponents. Guess I'm lucky
Sometimes I wonder if people are over just being negative and overexaggerating. I mostly play offline, but in 25 or so ranked games I haven't had a single "toxic" experience yet this year.

I hadn't had one until last week when I ran into a bunt cheeser. Yes, I saw his lineup and went for bunt defense+2b in, and he still kept bunting and bunting. Over all, though, I rarely have a bad online experience.

Until SDS switches to dedicated servers instead of peer to peer timing windows will be different every gm. This is why some gms you'll have no problem turning on 102 then next gm your late every swing.
