Rights are acquired before the game comes out and they have 30 new legends each year. You make some valid points but when it comes to new legends and cards they do just fine. I guarantee 90% of their legend budget went to Aaron, Clemente, and Pedro this year. It's just silly to think SDS will spend money on getting Nolan's rights and not giving him a card every year. Complain about gameplay etc. all you want but I think complaining about what cards are released is stupid, that's all.

There are 3 bosses, you can either keep them for collections, use them in your line up or sell them for about 60k and buy the card you want.

If Baseball works like Football, there are usually organizations that have the rights to several of the Legend types of players. I know EA gets their rights through FGA if I remember correctly.

A top level Nolan card should be more usable this year with pinpoint, but he isn't going to dethrone deGrom as the top righty.

Nolan cards don't need a sinker. His fastball and his 12-6 curve look exactly the same until the very last second. Should be fun. And they will probably give him s max break changeup at 84mph

His biggest downfalll was his bb/9 and control. This specific card is from 91 and he only walked 2 guys and struck out 16…..I’d imagine he will be much better than previous

The point is having multiple cards of the same person. If they're expanding the legends list each year, why do we need 300 Nolan cards, 234 Smoltz cards, etc. It just feels lazy to me.

I think what has happened is there were too many good cards delivered, or made obtainable, that make any other card useless. A better balance in how content is released could help make the inning programs more worthwhile. I mean, honestly what cards could still be released that would replace players we already have access to? After the AS/HR cards outfield is set, INF set, catcher? Pitcher? Maybe Randy Johnson or Bonds, but not likely to happen.

Like all gaming companies, the players aren’t their customers of concern. Sadly, it’s the shareholders, and it’s all about making money for them. EA, 2K, Ubisoft, doesn’t matter who it is.
It’s why so many games are copy/paste. The only modes that get any sort of attention are the ones with recurring player spending. Look at the profits these companies are making and you’ll see why the formula remains the same.

Griffey, Mantle, Mays, and Aaron will be significant upgrades in the outfield. Babe with a 1B secondary or Pujols, Gehrig, or Bellinger at 1st. 2nd and short we aren't going to get many better options but Honus Wagner, 99 Banks, 99 Tatis are all options. The best 3B was released at launch. Jimmie Foxx with a C secondary. For pitching we have Maddux, Pedro, Sale.
