My one request for MLB 22 is they revamp the ENTIRE hitting engine. No more PCI junk that means nothing.

I just lost a game to a guy with over a 100 loses this year, Larry Walker has 125 power but misses the center of the PCI by a half an inch and it is popped up in the infield.

I would love it if they can try something new and give us a system that would actually make sense.

I cannot understand how anyone can get to 1000 rating or 40 wins, because after 2 games of playing ranked a day, i'm done playing for a few days. The amount of weird PCI feedback and losing just makes MLB 21 boring and uninspiring to play.

Yeah it doesn’t rlly make any sense that the pci doesn’t represent the bat much. Although it has been better with the perfect perfect system it’s still not the greatest. It is rlly rlly hard to make sports video games a lot of people don’t rlly understand that.

I just want to know what happened to be from MLB 19 to 21,

My ranked record in 19 is currently at 224-82. It would have ended a lot better but I spent most of the final months fooling around with team builds. I used to be able to beat people easy. Now days I struggle to make WS. I can barely get to 10 wins, by the time that happens it seems the season is over.

Oh well. I can just hope they do something new in 22

I hit all 3 of these HR and not a single one of them should have been HR's.

What’s the point of bringing up how hard it is to make a game? There are plenty more intricate games that are great with less issues. If people do a bad at their job, they are fired and someone is brought in that can do the job better. Don’t cuck.

Sports can have so many random outcomes especially basketball. Probably why 2k gets so much hate. Everyone wants to win and feel in control and it’s just not possible to do that

Yeah they seriously need to fire everyone at sds and hire some people who developed mvp baseball. This game is dog shiite. They are horrible at their jobs. If i was this bad at my job, i would be welcoming everyone to wal-mart pretty quickly

Man I've been pushing for a MVP 2005 style game for like a decade. A next gen version of that would blow this away by a loooong margin. This game has good visuals, but people shill for it only because there is no reasonable competition

I would give this game more props if they actually made some genuine effort. It's the same game and engine for years. No attempts to improve or evolve the game. I'm going to give them next year with a fully developed game on next gen, if they port this same mess again I'm literally done with this studio
