RS becoming a slog
-
I've been playing semi casually for a number of years, always enjoyed the game. This year I've put more effort into ranked seasons. I'm pretty decent, managed to end up with a very solid record in just over 60 games so far. I was enjoying it until I got to the 700s+. Hitting becomes Frustratingly difficult. Pitching completely dominates 90% of the games. I've managed to keep winning more than I lose but it's become incredibly sweaty and boring. 3-2 games with 16 strikeouts a side gets stale real quick.
I wish they would do something like maybe make pitching more difficult as your rating goes up, not the other way around. Like make it more difficult to locate or something, cause every pitch is an absolute dot.

I'm guessing their logic is that as better cards come out, hitting will become easier in the long run. We'll just have to wait and see.

You were enjoying all star because it is a slug fest with the pci being enormous.

Yes... That's my point, slugfests are way more fun than constant pitcher's duels

You just need more practice on hall of fame. Hall of fame can also be a slugfest. BR is always on all star so at least you have that. Everyone that plays RS doesn't want to play on all star.

I like CS games if I'm not facing

Bro you don’t even want to see legend. I played one game on legend and lost 1-0 on a squeeze. Less than 1% of their user base can hit on legend. I’d say like 25% can get a few runs on HOF.
-
I’m on a bit of a run. Think I’ve won about 8 out of the last 10.
The bad news is that I’m at about 670 atm.
So I’ll spend the first half hour of my session tonight losing games on purpose and quitting out.
If I can’t hit or see 102mph on AS. You know I may as well not bother on HoF.

For what it’s worth (idea time)
Let the player chose their difficulty during ranked seasons before the game. (Even on rookie if you want. Why not?) But you can change difficulty if you want at anytime. For example a streamer may be able to get 40 wins/top 20 in ALL the below.
You then climb the leaderboards in that difficulty only.
The rewards are worse though.
For example if you play on Rookie;
40 wins means 90 or under overall
40 wins on Vet gives you a max 95
40 wins on AS same as now
40 wins on HoF gets you 2 picks
40 wins on Legend gets you all of the players (I think that’s fair!)Or you make the top 20 of the said difficulty division (same as making WS now!)
I think people would much prefer this. I shouldn’t have to keep losing games because I don’t want to play on a higher difficulty.
Oh. And the players stats only count for the difficulty you’re playing in.
