I think the same thing every time I read one of these!!
Especially if he's a forum type like us you would think they took a second to just like at the [censored] cards and see a ×1 -

There is no reason why a player should even have the ability to accidently select the same card twice when the cards are unsellable and are needed for collections like 99 Robinson. That's a horrible design oversight. If you think people picking the same card twice are stupid, imagine the stupidity of the people running the whole operation. They must be up to their eyeballs in support tickets since they haven't responded to requests regarding TA1 from months ago, and yet they still kept the same system in place for TA2.
At this point that must mean they either don't know how to change it without the entire game crumbling to pieces, or they just don't care.

Priorities people selecting same cards is not high on list

Look I'm a first year player, and I learned very early on to look at the top to see if it says x1 or new!!!! I get the frustration, but it's not the game... the game straight up tells you, hey you have one of those already!!! If your just too ignorant to slow down for five seconds to check, that's all on you man...

It shouldn’t happen if people slow down but SDS should have removed the option of selecting a duplicate on a card not available on the market. Even if it only happened to one user it is too many.

I picked Carlos rodon 2 times and am left without Jose ramirez, my psn is JarKidStegosarus. Can you please fix this as I only need Ramirez.

They need to fix it. Because the card says NEW instead of the owned 1 card message.

There are cases such as Topps Now where you may want to select the same person more than one since they are sellable. If they are No Sell cards then I would agree. Even a confirmation that says "You are selecting a player you already have in Inventory, do you want to proceed?" would be helpful.

Understand that there's a glitch that shows the already owned card as NEW.

Accidents happen, how doesn't really matter.
There should be a way around it, but there isn't. -

If it's too difficult to remove the option of selecting dupes, a confirmation popup when you already have a non-sellable card in your inventory might cut down on some of these mistakes. Seems to be happening a lot.

Im sure the amount of tickets SDS has gotten this year around this. I am sure this will be fixed for next year. Guess thats the silver lining for all of this. Sorry again Op.

True. Though SDS should make it impossible to make that mistake. Man I double and triple check to make sure it never happens to me. IDK I suppose in the end, personal responsibility to be cautious is the most important factor.
