Unbelievable Ohtani Ranked Squads Debut

3/4 at the plate with a HR
and 2 runs scored.Goes 7 innings of no hit ball with 18ks.
DeGrom comes in off the bench and nails down my first ever no hitter.
Side note - does the game get harder in that situation in the 9th? Suddenly everything was hit on the screws. Had to make a catch at the wall and a sick play up the middle with Story to finish it off.

You list everyone as soon as you mentioned bringing DeGrom in as a reliever.

Never thrown one. Wanted to give myself the best chance.

I would never know bc they always quit. Had a no hitter in the 7th like 30 minutes ago and the guy quit…(only base runner was a walk when the ball was halfway in the strike zone for strike 3)

I've never been able to finish a no hitter, I've gotten into the 9th inning before and had someone quit.
Full disclosure: I did get no hit by Edward Cabrera earlier this year. That one hurt my pride a bit. -
Was surprised he stuck it out myself. The last inning he ripped one to the very edge of the warning track and almost got a ball up the middle on the final out, but Story came up clutch. Suddenly he could hit everything on the screws. Seemed a little suspicious IMO but glad I got it done.

Why does everyone feel "suspicious" when they eventually get hit? Just because they start hitting doesn't mean there's anything nefarious behind it. Maybe you started getting predictable with your pitching?

I threw back to back no hitters with cabrera. Dude went like 25 IP straight without giving up a hit.
