Get one.. i got the alienware monitor that someone posted a few days ago… night and day difference

Been strongly considering buying one. Curious if you were having the same issues as me... online I can't catch a fastball unless I sellout and guess, but offline I have no issues. If so, the monitor made you a better hitter?

I could finally turn on those inside sinkers

Just meant you had an old slow TV. The fastest monitor/TV right now on the market is actually the LG C1 OLEDs. Expensive, but best for gaming.

I have an LG CX (last years c1) and it’s great for gaming.

I dont have either, but got to test one and wish I did. I would ditch my 4K monitor in a second lol, and my QLED.

Hardware unboxed did a great review on it.

Yes i was having trouble with fastballs… this made it better for sure. Search alienware 25 on amazon. It is 289 bucks or close to that. I hate that you have to spend more money on this game but i was stuck in high 800s amd could not get to wlrld series. This may help me take that final leap. In my opinion it was well worth it, you can definitely notice difference

Silly me. I thought a ps5, a 4k led TV, and a 100 dollar game would be good enough for me to see a [censored] fastball. Nope! Gotta buy more [censored] to make this game playable

    Right man. Beyond fk stupid.

Have a great LG OLED TV rated top for gaming last year when I bought it. Got a good LG gaming monitor a few months after that around Dec of last year and it’s still night and day. Monitor for me completely changed the game.

Does that have real good input lag?

I don't get this at all. I play on a TV and have zero issues seeing the ball/reacting. Would a monitor help a little? Probably, but it's not needed whatsoever.

I would hold off on buying though. There aren’t many gaming monitors that have hdmi 2.1.

Even if you did wait the Alienware he got has instant response time and like 2.3 MS input lag. HDMI 2.0 can do 120 Hz up to QHD/1440P. On a 24 inch monitor HD or QHD looks fine and a lot of people believe you gain an advantage playing at 1080P vs 4K….especially with HDR thrown in. I believe the reasoning I read is that it is easier for the GPU to process and if it gets bogged down it can impact input lag and what not.

I think it plays very well. It was the highest reviewed television for the next gen consoles, that’s why I bought it.

I was playing on 4k 50 inch. Ball looks like a beachball compared to what it was. I hated to spend 300 more but [censored] it may be worth it

Don't forget not playing at 4k
