Look at 2K….none of the cards are unique. They give point guards thru centers every animation and badge in order to sell packs. This guy doesn’t realize it’s a slippery slope.
But this is MLB The Show, not NBA2K. So let's stick with MLB The Show.

That's completely irrelevant, DeGrom does actually throw 100+ consistently so giving him outlier is completely justified. That's what this debate is about, don't try and make it about something else.

Soto doesn't have outlier, he doesn't throw 102, so what are you talking about? And Crochet has outlier because he has thrown 101 and 102 consistently all of last year when he was healthy.

But the whole idea behind outlier is that they can give guys who throw 100+ consistently an extra bump in velocity to translate their game better into the game. Ohtani doesn't consistently throw 100+ so he shouldn't have outlier, despite the fact that he's a unicorn and so on and so forth.
Neither does Crochet. His highest MPH this year has been 96.7 and last year 100.1.
But he hasn't been healthy and has proven last year that he can easily touch 100+ whenever he wants when healthy.
He barely broke 100 last year but sure, let's give him 102 just because
