Well I won't argue with that. But Ohtani not having outlier is the right thing, even though I'd love for him to have it as well.

Neither does Crochet. His highest MPH this year has been 96.7 and last year 100.1.

But he hasn't been healthy and has proven last year that he can easily touch 100+ whenever he wants when healthy.

Not to mention it's a video game that's supposed to be fun. We had to lock in a ton of stubs to collect this card. Just want him to be end game.

It's supposed be a rarity, there is no way you can justify giving it to someone who hardly ever even touches 101.

Who is a relief pitcher? Cole? Verlander? Either way the difference between 100 and 102 is significant. If you don't understand that, then I guess you don't really know much pitching and baseball in general.

Who is a relief pitcher? Cole? Verlander? Either way the difference between 100 and 102 is significant. If you don't understand that, then I guess you don't really know much pitching and baseball in general.

Look at 2K….none of the cards are unique. They give point guards thru centers every animation and badge in order to sell packs. This guy doesn’t realize it’s a slippery slope.

That's completely irrelevant, DeGrom does actually throw 100+ consistently so giving him outlier is completely justified. That's what this debate is about, don't try and make it about something else.

Do you realize I am agreeing with you? Slippery slope means once you give quirks out to players to push packs there is no ending to it.
