And did the update really change hitting that much? Playing the event and man it feels off. Is it the sliders or the update?

The only thing they tinkered with was contact swings. If you're noticing a difference with any other aspect of hitting, then I'm afraid it's all in your head.

I don't know, could be. It's definitely not the update though.
I’ll take your word for it, just never had a problem like this. I’ll play it some more and see if it’s just me and not the game

Unfortunately it seems normal swing was somehow altered as well. I never used contact swing when it was the meta, but definitely have noticed lower exit velocities using normal.

Dont listen to that guy. Once gameplay tweaking starts, one thing like "fixing" contact swings has affects to how othwr hittin swings perform.
