Wishful thinking?

With ta3 coming out later today I'm hoping we see more variation in lineups. I'm assuming all ta3 cards will be able to parallel to 99.

I don't think we see much variety on the pitching side of things. Degrom won't be all that much better than his live series and I don't think Marquez, Kicuchi, Rodon, Gausman and Rogers will kick out Cabrera, Lee, Glavine etc. the pen arms in TA3 I'm sure will be solid though. Beyond that I think you will see a lot of Trea Turner, Olson, Perez/Realmuto, Devers, Albies, JRam, Judge

Ohtani? why? i don't think we are getting degrom either. I think it will be Walker. This program is just topps now cards released as a TA. They aren't that exciting by name and will have to be juiced to even crack people's lineup minus the bull pen guys.

They showed deGrom as the Mets all-star card on Twitter. I do think we could see cards for the other 20+ all-stars in the next few weeks tho

Already been announced it’s deGrom, most of them are already released my man

I'm excited about Michael Brantley as a bench bat (I've always Iiked his swing) , Trae turner, degrom, and jt realmuto

Usable is definitely a relative term. Will Trea Turner and Olson be better than Story and Ortiz. On paper no. But Olson is taking ortiz out of my lineup in a heartbeat. The only cards that will be "unusable" are Adam Frazier, Brantley, and Cronenworth as well as some of the starters. Devers, Olson, Turner, Perez, Teoscar, Albies, and Castellanos all have god tier swings IMO. It's all personal preference. The way some people see it unless it's the 99s of Mantle, Griffey, Babe, Gehrig, Pujols, Mays etc. than it's "unusable". Have some fun with your lineups once in a while instead of conforming to the meta lineup. You will enjoy this game a lot more that way

Awh i hadn't seen they announced him yet. Good at least there is one non topps now card. I still don't get the ohtani reference. I know walsh is the angels and i don't see a hrd ohtani not being a fielding card.

Why Olson over Ortiz?
Olson has a much better swing and has god tier reactions at first. Devers, olson, and degrom are the only cards i think i will even care about in this.

They will likely have similar #s vs RHP (Olson may be worse vs L) and Olson's swing is much better than Papi's

Why Olson over Ortiz?

Plus Diamond defense (means little at first but he'll save you a run every so often). I dunno...as a Yankee fan Papi ruins my day but I feel like I collected him and I need to use him (I do well with him too which helps lol).
Anyway -- TA3 Trea Turner is super appealing as I love his LS card (still on my bench) so a him being juiced is awesome (and gives me more lineup construction problems). Excited to see the juiced Hader/Judge as well.
Overall some of the lower tier LS Cards (Reyes/Soto) are kind of exciting to see what they do with them. Give Tigers/Cards fans a reason to use a fav team player that has potential is always a good thing imo.
