Fielders Misplaying Ground Balls

What’s with the weird new animation this year where the fielders bend down to scoop up a grounder when they’re not even close to it yet? Allowing the ball to just roll on by. Happens in the infield and outfield. Usually at the worst times.

I think people just pull on the stick a little too early and your player is close to the ball and that’s what causes that.

Nah this is a pre-determined animation and it is so frustrating. I know I'm not going to make the catch but i still wana be close and play it off the bounce or cut it off and sometimes this animation triggers sometimes when I'm not even close, causing that whack stumble animation and it givesan easy triple to anyone with decent speed.

Its not new. 1st and 3rd baseman have been doing it for a few years now.

I've had three incredible BR runs of late:
9-0 when I had my first loss
9-0 when I had my first lossAnd just last night, 11-0 when I had my first loss
All three losses have been a result of an error, either this one, or the one where they do a pirouette before making the throw despite taking the same route I've taken a hundred million times.
All three sets of errors were with a silver, gold or diamond fielder. Last night was Wander Franco and Shawn Green - both my diamonds (even though I believe Shawn is silver defense - he let it bonk off his head).
Other times have been Dejong, BUXTON (like seriously, what the actual hell, has Buxton ever missed a ball he was camped under in his human life?), and Ernie Banks twice.
All those runs I had 0 errors in the other games too. Just as another kick in the crotch.
I really want that flawless banner. I'll keep settling for making 100k on 12-1 runs, but I really want that badge of honour before moving over to RS.
I don't understand the need for any sort of RNG in fielding if we're going competitive mode. Especially BR - we're literally paying 1500 stubs, we're FORCED to draft MOSTLY bronze and silvers.
I'm gonna keep playing, because I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to the pain and suffering at this point. But why are any of these animations the results of game and run changing errors?
Last night I literally dreamt about the game four times in my eight hour sleep lol. Literally to the word, giving me nightmares.

I've noticed what my diamond outfielders when they go to catch a fly ball on the run they will put their glove up and the ball will literally go right past their glove like they are blinded by the Sun and didn't see the ball right next to them. I haven't noticed that until this week it's very bizarre and it cost me a couple of events games. If it was ranked seasons I would actually give a [censored].

Sometimes the ball hits the glove and bounces, I got one of those lucky breaks in an event game and I walked it off next AB. It’s bad!
