It's so the could actually complete these asinine Daily Moments where you need to use your Ballplayer.
4 hits with a 65 OVR Bronze ain't happening.
Especially bc when you only get one pitch, per AB, that in the zone and a Diamond sense outfielder makes a highlight play.
Also doesn't help that when the SP still had half of their energy even though their on pitch number 120 in extras.

It took me a few tries. Just work counts to get him to throw a fastball that you know is coming.

If you put on some diamond equipment, you should be able to accomplish the moments even with a baseline ballplayer. Enough diamond equipment has been given away at this point that he should at least be usable.

its one of the reasons. but mostly it was because you get an xp reward every time you get the 'stubs' reward in the archetype reward progressions... oh and diamond equipment used to be worth a lot more so that was nice too

Made a lot of stubs selling the equipment early on.

Oh I figured it was for the submarine lefty that throws anywhere from 100-70mph with insane break. Or the switch hitting god that is the greatest defender of all-time.

i keep telling myself im going to set one of these up because of that lol . i did every pitching archetype to diamond and a handful of the hitting ones.

I've done almost nothing with my ballplayer this year, but I just added a couple diamond perks that I've earned from packs and inning programs then easily completed the moment in just a few tries. It wasn't that hard.
