Is there a good guide for conquest?

There has got to be a better method than what I have been doing. Do you guys reinforce every area or just the block you are gojng to push with?

I literally just finished my 7th USA map the other day. I steal on AS for about 3 games to begin with but then I go straight at strongholds. My last trip through, I had like 60 fans and took the Rangers, Astros and then worked NE to take each stronghold and half way to the east coast. I didn't reinforce any spot other than 3 fans at each stronghold. I beat it in like 20 turns, all games on AS or lower. Then, spent about 20 minutes simming to get the 10 packs.

Bro... If they have 3 they will attack... All you need is one less and they will do nothing... Very simple...

I have the first part down to a science
Beat Colorado twice
Steal from Oakland, take their stronghold.
Steal from SF, take their stronghold
Steal from SEA, take their stronghold
Steal from Dodgers, take their stronghold
Steal from Padres, take Angels and Padres strongholds
Steal from Texas, take Arizona's stronghold
Steal from Houston, take Texas stronghold
Take Houston's stronghold
From there it really depends. I can go to the beginning and take the Twins/Tigers etc, or I can branch off to either KC or St. Louis. It generally depends on how I feel and how much KC/STL is already taking my hexes -
When doing the usa map try to cut off the west first and just head straight for the outposts.....that way when you move to the center of the map you don’t even have to worry about the west......then lock off central south, head up north....lock all that down then move to east.....most games can be played on veteran.....just head for the outposts don’t get caught up trying to surround every outpost and then attacking them, just wipe them out as you move around the map just try to keep cutting them all off

Best advice I have gotten is figure out which territory is prized by CPU's stronghold. For example on the mystery map, the Yankees will always attack the top left spot over any others, no matter how many fans you have in it. By taking that spot, you can pin them and sweep up their other territories at will.
