Playing the same team over and over

This is my first year, and I’ve made it to around 1000 ranking the last two ranked seasons. Every team I face is the same lineup, collection rewards, some switch hitting OP cap player, trout, chipper, Ortiz, etc etc.
Is this what the game is going to be moving forward? Just seems like every single guy is a carbon copy of the last. Would love some parody instead of just guys who’s idea of fun is just spamming the meta with the same players over and over.

I have only played 7 or 8 ranked games, and for the most part I have seen a good amount of diversity in my opponents' lineups. That said, yes it will pretty much mostly be the same guys with a few twists as new cards come out.

I have a few but none of the complete collection stuff. Honestly don’t know how you achieve these cards without a tremendous amount of grinding or credit card help. I obviously don't need these things to make it to the upper ranks, but I feel alone and it just makes the game so bland when everyone has the exact same lineup match after match.

A lot of the top players will just immediately dump money into the game to get all of the good cards that can't be gotten quickly

Puason
Jackie
Thome
Sam Huff
Dante Bichette
Mauricio
Torii Hunter
Buxtonand I feel like that's a good bit different from any lineups I have seen so far.

There's always god squads, with a little variation. You don't have to use God squads, but usually you aren't beating other god squads with meme teams.

Yeah, I loved watching some of the streamers on day one murdering everyone on Vet or AS with Chipper, Trout, Soriano and Ortiz and acting like they were bad@$$e$ when their opponent was mostly gold and silver teams. So pathetic, lol.

Yes, that is all you will see because most people really care about their online record.
Me? I tanked down to 750ish to do my dailies. I will use different cards to get the dailies done. I don't care if I win or lose and it makes the game way more enjoyable than using the same lineup every game. Just last night one of my missions was 3 xbh with gold players. Super tough mission on HOF against pitchers like Leiter and Glavine. Got it done after a few games and had a good time.
