I'm officially downgraded from "Terrible" to "Abhorrent". The pitching still works, but I can't hit a barn door with a missile launcher at this point

If it lags on the pitcher select screen you are usually the away team and the connection isn't good. Problem is if it doesn't lag you are most likely home but could still have a bad connection in the game.

Don’t know what’s happening this year with cross-gen and cross-plat, I’m still on ps4 and the pitcher’s screen always lag, but 95% of my games have good connections, even on the road in MLB stadiums. Haven’t been in MM Park yet though; fingers crossed. Don’t know how many times I thought yep, road team and I’m home.

Apparently there's a strategy to slow down a runner trying to steal a base. Because I perfectly timed a steal on a changeup, the throw to second was high and I was about by about 89 feet despite that. 4-7. Puason btw
