Ranked seasons or events seem to progress them faster.

If you are looking to Parallel a single card - Play vs CPU, as the road team, You need to get at least 8PA for the game to count parallel XP.
Once you finish your top half of the inning with the minimum required PA's - quit and restart

On veteran, unless you can tolerate rookie. The multiplier is a bit lower (a decimal per level, negligible) but you rack up more stats
