3rd post about legend difficulty

This is at a point where I’m about to just stop playing this game it’s so bad. Legend has legit been unhittable for not only me but everyone I play. 1-0 games or 0-0 extras where we can only win by bunting in the runner on second. This seriously horrible to play. Different timing windows seemingly every inning pitch speeds that are just no realistic and pinpoint is great you should be able to throw the ball where you want but the pci is the size of the ball and doesn’t even cover the corners of the zone where the pitch is dotted 95% of the time. It’s legitimately unplayable at this point. Do I have to tank my rating 100 points just to try and have fun? It was never this bad before. Last 2 ranked seasons I got to my 40 wins winning 20 or more on legend and now it’s like a whole new difficulty.

Add this to the list. Pitchers with 118 H/9 against hitters with 95 Contact… It was too soon to release Leiter, Paxton, Kluber…

Played against a guy that dotted the corners every pitch with 124 h/9 vida blue. It was hell.

They already gave everyone a shot at br and ws, and now let's get rid of the diificulty also. That diificulty is what separates the elite from everyone else.
The elites separate themselves on HOF difficulty putting up a ton of runs and pitching lights out. Legend difficulty doesn’t separate anyone that gets up that high. A solo shot or fluke base knock often decides games at that difficulty

Legend and HOF were very playable for me on Friday. Then Saturday, the server errors came along with the warping pitches, noodle bats and opponents getting garbage hits on everything. Today, I am on HOF and beating people with a less than God squad team. Just had a game with 5 pirates in the lineup and finally made the guy quit. First 3 innings I had 6 balls well within the HOF PCI for zero runs.

The answer to your question is yes. You have to tank. I am tanking back to 7 something if the game is playing good. If not, I will tank further. I will just use different cards and not my God squad. I just played a game on HOF with 5 pirates to complete the daily. I enjoy those games. That is why I put the post up about more missions. Dailies and missions make the game much more enjoyable for me.
Also, I do different things with lineup like all RH, all LH, etc. Going to run an all switch hitter lineup when I get the boss done. Will take Murray and then maybe buy Franco when he comes down a little.

They really should create some sort of option as well as special divisions with max ratings etc. They should do something but I don't think they should eliminate Legend difficulty. It truly is what separates the good from the elite, however, I should add I think that separation has been lowered as it creates the possibility to equalize a really good player with an elite player where as in years past that elite player would still smash the really good player.
I have no issue with hitting poorly on legend as I can live with that. I've never heard of anyone getting laid by telling a girl how high their DD average is and I don't care but I can see the frustration and there needs to be something for guys who want to play on HOF but are in the 900's. I admittedly, get frustrated but I don't let it determine my fun factor.
